Is Salvation for All Men?
The answer is clearly Yes. Why YES? 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come into repentance."
Moreover, Jesus also gave a very profound explanation concerning Salvation in Matthew 18:12-14. Jesus said,"...if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them go astray. Doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray. And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so, it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."
How does the Will system of God work in the lives of men concerning Salvation?
God is so humble that His Will system concerning salvation is not solely dependent on him in as much as Christ has come to die for our sins. He gives room for your consent. It is the will of God for all men to be saved and come into repentance but not all men shall be saved. This is because the individual has a role to play by accepting this salvation as a free gift of God. Christ died for all but it is your choice and a decision to reach to believe in Him. Believing in Jesus is not a free gift but Salvation is.
The Bible said, "for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him, will not perish but have everlasting life." The world is the entire population of men but whosoever believes in him is just a sample of them that are going to be saved.
Your refusal, denial or inability to agree to the will of God in your life will eventually put you at a disadvantage. Believe in Jesus, obey his commands and keep your faith in Him to be a bonafide recipient of this grace called salvation. God saves us all.
